About LMBC

With an approximate active membership of 250, LMBC is a church just big enough to be surrounded by a wide variety of people while still maintaining a personal family feeling.

Our purpose is to fulfill the commission give by our Lord Jesus Christ of being disciples and making disciples.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

--Matthew 28:18-20

A 60-Year History of Making Disciples

In May 2007, we celebrated our 60th year of ministry in Longview, Texas! In what started as a meeting of around 30 people in the house of T.H. Robe, the Lord has continually blessed our church throughout the years to what it is today.

For 40 years, LMBC occupied a building on South Green Street, and in 1987 broke ground on the construction of the facilities at our current location at the intersection of Loop 281 and Hollybrook.
